Canadian Bill C-51..... DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!
Sorry for the caps, but if this bill gets passes it will be the downfall of the Canadian health products industry. We do not need the pharmaceutical guys enforcing natural herbs and supplements, even to go as far as to criminalize giving natural supplements to your kids.
Check out the story on NaturalNews.com at: http://www.naturalnews.com/023121.html
We need to call and write (slow mail) the powers that be to show how much we are against this new bill getting passed or else we will be enslaved in symptoms care instead of preventative care and end up taking more medication to deal with symptoms from the previous medications, creating a dependency on drugs I'm sure the pharmaceutical companies will love. (yuck!)

What are you afraid of?
A friend passed off this poem to me which I just have to post. It was actually quoted by Nelson Mandela and for good reason too.
Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson
Our Deepest Fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
This one's for you Charles and for all of us
I promised a friend I'd find this quote for him, but I also wanted to get it for myself. It serves as a reminder that things are not always what they seem even if we sit there and analyze it to death. We may all come to an agreement that yes, this is why things are so, but 20 years, 10 months, or even hours down the line that could change, new theories may arise and what do we do then?
The Evolution of Physics by Albert Einstein, Leopold Infeld, 1938.
Physical concepts are free creations of the human mind, and are not, however it may seem, uniquely determined by the external world. In our endeavor to understand reality we are somewhat like a man trying to understand the mechanism of a closed watch. He sees the face and the moving hands, even hears its ticking, but he has no way of opening the case. If he is ingenious he may form some picture of a mechanism which could be responsible for all the things he observes, but he may never be quite sure his picture is the only one which could explain his observations. He will never be able to compare his picture with the real mechanism and he cannot even imagine the possibility or the meaning of such a comparison.
A fresh change
I like where I am at right now, tho it is a bit exciting seeing that I just quit my late shift full time job and now going back to the daytime hours. I'm feeling much more confident in my scripting abilities as well.
And wow, I'm spending more time with my family. I'm going to have to do a bbq and invite them all over. Usually I just wait till one of them have something, but not this summer.
I think if I didn't go to the Landmark Forum, my life wouldn't have opened up this much. But my life isn't stress free. In fact I now see how opening your life can also invite drama. I'm usually down for "no drama". I don't like having to "deal with" other peoples issues. I'm still that way I guess, but going to make an effort to not see it as an inconvenience and more of an opportunity for growth.
I think I'm going to return the call from the taxman today or maybe tomorrow morning after I organize all my papers and information. Don't want to call back unprepared.
Then I have an interview with a company downtown. Have to bring my A-Game.
Later.
Google Gems
Lucky to catch these gems on the internet thanks to google and april fools. Made me chuckle anyways.
Subway meet and greets
Now that I moved back to the big city I'm bumping into old friends more and more. Today I bumped into an uncle of an old friend of mine. One of my closet friends from university. I actually confess my love to this guy (even tho it wasn't reciprocated - Oh well). But his uncle is looking well and still the same. Full on energy always thinking of projects. He now into reading these books that deal with the creation of the world by god, but explained with physics. Very interesting stuff and he so reminds me of *sigh* him.
But it turns out my friend is still working in Detroit but failed to show up for some family gathering over here. But anyways, I passed his uncle my number and hopefully he can pass it on.
Getting a little nervous just thinking about him calling me. How much have each of us changed or stayed the same? I have a feeling he'll be exactly how I remember him, but more distinguished. I probably look the same if his uncle can remember me after about 10 years. But I have changed since then.
I just hope we can be good friends like we once were.
I must have a sign on my head that says "men with wives welcome"
What is it with men that are obviously taken trying to come on to me. It's really quite annoying. I think I need to enroll in bitchy 101 so I can just blow them off instantly, cuz they can be so persistent and when I ask for their number after refusing to give mine, of course they don't have a phone they can be reached at.
Okay to all those that have someone at home but still looking for piece on the side, please do not come to me. And not like I'm available anyways. But they never want to hear that you're taken, it's like they won't accept it.
I'm gonna make a new sign: "Just Don't Bother". It will save some people time and effort. And make my subway rides less irritating.
